After getting started, I found this a hard book to put down. It is not a light read. As a student of biblical prophecy for many years I found myself cross referencing and connecting the dots that I have many times grappled with before. "Has this prophecy been fulfilled? If so when?" Most of the prophecies in question are to do with the nations immediately bordering today's Israel. I don't want to take any of Bill Salus' "thunder" here, so to the students of prophecy I say "You need to get this book". Not just for reading, but for studying and keeping for reference. It took me a proverbial "lot of heavy chewing" to get it down but all the trails need to be explored if you are like me and need to test the presented hypotheses, which incidentally, do hold up well. Yes, there are always questions left in the pursuit of the meaning of many prophetic scriptural passages, and this is the norm. This book is worthy of a place in your study library.

Fascinating and thought provoking. I have ordered the rest of Bill Salus's books! Very in depth and we'll researched. Scripture seems to validate theory.
Very informative and revealing of facts not widely known in the biblical arena. An excellent treatise on the subject of Israel and its place in God's plan for mankind.
Author does an excellent job of explaining prophecy but repeats the same information over and over. This book could probably be reduced to half the number of pages.
I have been a student of prophecy for many years and this book is one of the best I have read with CURRENT thought on the Psalm 83 prophecy. I believe this book is a must read for anyone who wants to have an understanding of prophecy and some very near term events on the horizon. It is very well researched, with excellent facts. This book will give the reader a very clear view of the current nations/peoples surrounding Israel,their ancient roots,the "everlasting hatred", what is being played out in todays headlines and the outcome.
Found this book very informative and interesting. The Bible is full of mysteries but it gives the answers as well. Concerning the time at the end, there are things prophecised which aren't being discussed. I suggest everyone interested in the coming events to read this book.
I read the Psalm 83 War book by this author before I realized that Isralestine was written first. However, the facts presented by Mr. Salus in this book were still highly relevant. I recommend this book to all Bible prophecy student, but also recommend reading it BEFORE the Psalm 83 War book. Both are excellent, well-written and extremely important resources for understanding what is happening in the Middle East, and why.
Israelstine By Bill Salus is a Convincing Bible Study about the prophecy delivered in psalm 83 (as well as corresponding scriptures). In Psalm 83 we have a description of a confederation of Arab nations who attempt to wipe out Israel; and searching the Scriptures; we find out that what happens; and what happens is that, Israel wins this war, with the LORD's Help, and expands there territory. Many prophecy scholars group all these end time prophecy's together; as either in the 7 year tribulation period; or into two groups of prophecy's, first a war of all the modern Islamic country's (with their ally Russia) against Israel before the 7 year tribulation (as described in Ezekiel chapters 38 and 39) and then the day of the LORD or Armageddon during the tribulation.

What Salus does is say there are actually three events not two, First Israel delivers the LORD's judgement on the close surrounding Arab country's and because safe and secure and very rich as a result against specific peoples mentioned in Psalm 38 that do not coincide with Ezekiel chapters 38 and 39-the modern equivalent country's are the nation less Palestinians, Syria, Egypt, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia and Jordin, this confederacy attempts to exterminate the Jews and thus Gods Judgement ensues upon them. Then that is followed later by the war of Ezekiel chapters 38 and 39 (judgement on non arab muslim natuions and there allies) and then that is flowed by the rise of antichrist the tribulation and the war of Armageddon (final judgemnet on unrepentent gentile nations).

Salus shows us just where this hate of the Jew by the Arab and non Arab Muslims come from and who they really hate, he looks to scriptures and History to determine this, He also shows us how the Bible predicted modern terrorism, how that these nations (relatives of Israel) would come together under one false religion, and he describes just who they are today. He also goes on to show us what the result will be, a defeated enemy and a much expanded Israel. I think Salus makes a convincing argument for his thesis in this book and I would highly recommend it as part of your study of bible prophecy.
